A research-led marketing studio

Marketing built on signal,
not noise.

Radar is a small marketing studio in Pensacola, Florida. We work with regional brands, family-owned operators, and B2B companies on the parts of marketing that turn into revenue — demand research, paid media, and the conversion design that connects the two.

The studio

Small team. Quiet method. Few clients on purpose.

We started Radar in 2020 after spending most of the prior decade inside larger agencies on the Gulf Coast — first running paid media, then research, then quietly noticing that the part of the work that actually moved revenue was the part nobody wanted to bill for. So we built a studio around that part.

We take on between eight and twelve clients at a time. We do not pitch by deck. We do not have account managers. We do not write strategy documents that don't get used. We write the research memos, we run the campaigns, we measure what the campaigns did, and we tell you what we'd do next.

Most of the brands we work with are in the $2M to $30M annual revenue range, with a real product, a real customer base, and the kind of pragmatic owner who would rather see a one-page Friday memo than a quarterly deck.

If that's how your business reads, we are likely a good fit. If you are looking for an agency that will help you "rebrand" a quarterly all-hands, we are an unusually poor one.

The job is to find where your buyer is. Then to be there. Then to be there before they tell you they're looking. The rest is decoration. — Studio note, internal
Capabilities

Five things we are genuinely good at.

We have opinions about everything else, but these are the disciplines that get most of our hours each month — and that produce most of the outcomes our clients hire us for.

i.
Demand research
Buyer interviews, category mapping, the unsexy work of figuring out who actually buys the thing and what they were doing right before they bought it. Most of our engagements start here. It informs everything that follows.
ii.
Paid media management
Google, Meta, LinkedIn, programmatic display, YouTube. We've spent over $40 million in paid media since 2020 and we still write the briefs by hand. We do not subcontract the buying.
iii.
Brand positioning
For B2B clients particularly, what you say about your company is more load-bearing than how you say it. We help you find the one true sentence and then we help every channel say it the same way.
iv.
Conversion design
Landing pages, sales pages, and the email sequences that connect them. We write the copy and we own the design. We will not hand you a Figma file and call it strategy.
v.
Attribution & reporting
A two-page monthly readout that shows you what we spent, what we learned, and what changed in the funnel. We work in your measurement stack — GA4, Triple Whale, a clean spreadsheet — and we do not sell you a new one.
How an engagement runs

A four-phase rhythm. Mostly written. Mostly weekly.

Phase one

Listen first.

Two weeks of interviews with your team, your customers, and the parts of your existing data that are worth reading. We deliver a written memo, not a deck. The memo is yours regardless of whether we work together after that.

Phase two

Position and plan.

One week. We write the positioning, draft the channel mix, and set out what we want to test in the first 90 days. You see it before anyone does. Nothing gets built without your read first.

Phase three

Build and ship.

Three to six weeks. Landing pages, ads, sequences, the measurement that connects them. Everything goes live in pieces, instrumented as it goes. You see real numbers within a week of launch.

Phase four

Read and adjust.

Ongoing. A Monday memo summarizing what changed, what we learned, and what we're testing next. A standing 30-minute call only when we genuinely need one. We do not run quarterly business reviews unless you ask.

Engagement models

Three ways to work with us. We will tell you which.

Model A · Retainer

Full marketing partnership

A standing engagement for companies spending $25K to $250K a month in paid media and willing to hand over the channel ownership. We run the accounts, write the briefs, ship the assets, send the memo.

Term   Twelve months  ·  Cadence   Monthly
Model B · Embedded

Embedded with in-house

For companies with their own marketing lead who want senior counsel rather than replacement. We sit on your weekly stand-ups, write the strategy memos, and review the work — but the team is yours.

Term   Six months  ·  Cadence   Bi-weekly
Model C · Project

Research & positioning sprint

A fixed eight-week engagement. Buyer research, positioning workshop, one written strategy document, and a 90-day testing plan. Then we step out and let your team execute.

Term   Eight weeks  ·  Cadence   Weekly
Model D · Advisory

Monthly advisory call

One hour a month. You bring the questions, we bring honest answers. Often the right starting point if you're not sure yet whether you need an agency at all.

Term   Month-to-month  ·  Cadence   Monthly
Get in touch

Tell us about the business.

Send a short note with what you sell, what you're spending in paid media, and what's actually broken. We answer within one business day, usually less. If we are not the right fit we will say so — and where reasonable, we will point you toward someone who is.
